2022 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Wielitsch Kapelle Morillon trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Cool, polished, slightly vegetal and delicately floral citrus pome fruit nose with nutty notes and delicate red berry nuances. Quite juicy fruit with nutty and slightly dried vegetal flavours, fine acidity and grip of crumbly tannin, some apricot and vineyard peach on the palate, somewhat stony minerality and smoke in the background, good substance and persistence, a hint of dark berries, a little crab meat, very good, firm, juicy, grippy and spicy, almost a little peppery finish.
