2018 trocken Cuvée "Mavie", Burgenland, Austria

Firm, polished, quite fresh aroma of mainly dark berries and cherries with a little toasty and tobacco wood notes and peppery spicy tones. Strong and tart in the mouth, ripe dark fruit with lots of roasted wood, coffee and cocoa notes on the palate, ripe, still a bit sandy tannin, lots of power, good persistence, sooty traces, not forever deep, good to very good, quite woody finish
