1997 Leithaberg Ried Marienthal Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Mature, firm nose, ripe black berries, some red berries and plums, mineral notes, roasted, spicy oak and cedary notes. Firm and juicy on the palate, prominent spicy oak, fairly cool style, elegant acid bite, harmonious, only very slightly astringent tannins, persistent and has some depth, medium body, mineral notes in the background, quite complex, very good finisn. In excellent condition.

Best to drink: Bis 2012. What our ratings mean
