2022 Großheubach Bischofsberg Chardonnay trocken ***, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Cool, rather tart, herbaceous-vegetable citrus nose with hints of nuts and pomaceous fruit. Youthful, juicy, strikingly sweet fruit with vegetal to herbaceous and slightly nutty tones, lively acidity, some grip, a hint of candy on the palate, smoky traces, good persistence, very light dark berry background, some minerality, good to very good, again quite sweet finish with clear juice.
