The wines keep constant high level and are usually the best in their respective category in the area. Weaknesses, there is little, but can occur in difficult vintages. However, this must be balanced in good years with particularly compelling assortments so that an operation can hold the status. In most cases you can blindly buy.

The winery is located in the municipality of Großheubach in the "lower Mühle" (Mainviereck area) in the German growing region of Franconia. The family specialized in viticulture in 1975 and the old mill was converted into a hedge farm. The parental business was taken over by viticulturalist Stefan Kremer in 1990, which he has been running with his wife Christine ever since. The vineyards, most of which are steeply terraced, cover five hectares of vines on heat-retaining red sandstone weathered soils. They are 60% planted with the white wine varieties Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, Kerner, Riesling, Scheurebe, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, and 40% with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Portugieser, Regent, St. Laurent and Cabernet Dorsa

The vineyards are cultivated in an environmentally friendly manner according to the guidelines of natural viticulture. Quality-enhancing measures in this regard include short pruning, fertilization with organic composts, intensive foliage care and thinning out, cover crop and thinning out. Only fully ripened, healthy grapes are processed through selective manual harvesting. After gentle pressing, the white grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel with the aim of producing aromatic, fresh white wines. After destemming, the red grapes undergo a classic maceration and are then aged in large wooden barrels, the top products partly in barrique. A bottle-fermented sparkling wine and Secco are also produced. The new premium line "The FIRST" was introduced in 2013. For this, Chardonnay, Silvaner and Pinot Blanc are harvested with strictly selective hand picking. They are aged in gentle processing with slow aromatic fermentation and months of yeast storage in wooden barrels
