2022 Großheubach Bischofsberg Frühburgunder trocken ***, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, somewhat nutty aroma of predominantly dark berries and some cherries with delicate smoky, herbal and floral nuances. Ripe, somewhat melting, youthful fruit, very crumbly tannins, delicate acid bite, a little beetroot on the palate, a hint of aubergine and herbs, moderate roasted tones, a little chocolate and tobacco ash, earthy nuances, hint of salt, certain warmth, good to very good finish.
