2020 Großheubach Bischofsberg Pinot Noir trocken Reserve ***, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, somewhat smoky and roasted, woody-spicy aroma of rather dark berries and a little sour cherries with tobacco flavours and some ash. Ripe, quite juicy, rather warm, partly preserved fruit, a little crumbly-sandy and also slightly drying tannin, certain melting on the palate, slightly ethereal spice, good persistence, coffee and cocoa notes, salt in the background, a little soup vegetables, very good finish.
