2020 Bürgstadt Centgrafenberg Pinot Noir trocken Reserve ***, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly warm, somewhat oaky and undergrowth on the nose, black and red berries, some tobacco and tobacco ash, earthy notes and a hint of aubergine. Tart, slightly muted fruit with bitterish, again somewhat ashy woody spice and somewhat sandy tannins, a little cocoa and coffee in the background, again a hint of aubergine, smoky and earthy tones, chalky notes in the background, some salt, good to very good, slightly drying and woody finish.
