2019 Großheubach Bischofsberg Cabernet Dorsa trocken ***, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Somewhat nutty, spicy, vegetal to dried herbal and hints of bacon aroma of partly preserved black berries with a hint of pepper and paprika. Dark, rather tart fruit with bitter chocolate and nutty wood tones, fine sandy tannin, slightly toasty and minty aromas, hints of coffee grounds and tobacco, a hint of chalk, very good, slightly peppery finish.
