2018 Großheubach Bischofsberg Spätburgunder trocken "CHURfranken", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, somewhat smoky aroma of red and also a little black berries with dried planty to herbal notes and restrained wood spice. Ripe, juicy, relatively dark fruit, herbal and peppery spice, some smoky wood, a hint of liquorice, persistent on the palate, salty notes in the background, very slightly ethereal, a hint of ice confectionery, good to very good finish
