2019 Rech Herrenberg Frühburgunder Grosses Gewächs, Ahr, Germany

Clear, tart, quite polished and deep aroma of red and black berries with cherry aromas, fine tobacco tones, some herbs and mushrooms. Fine, quite cool, fresh fruit, youthful, fine tannin and some bite, a little bitter chocolate on the palate, light grip, smoky and peppery nuances, some depth, mineral tones, hints of ethereal spiciness, very good, taut, fine-juicy and -spicy, again also mineral finish with traction.
