The winery Helmut and Gabriele Preisinger is located in the municipality of
Gols in the Burgenland wine-growing region of
Neusiedlersee (Austria). The motto of the house is "Preserve and renew - harmoniously combining tradition and modernity". The vineyards cover 17 hectares in the
Altenberg, Breitenacker, Erofacker,
Goldberg, Heideboden, Schmaler Grund and Zwickelacker vineyards. They are 75% planted with the red varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent, Cabernet Sauvignon, Blauburgunder and Syrah, and 25% with the white varieties Welschriesling, Weißburgunder, Grauburgunder, Neuburger, Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, Traminer and Sämling 88. The premium wines include, for example, the cuvées "Gols" (St. Laurent, Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Pinot Noir), "Mithras" (Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah), "Heideboden rot" (Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon) and "Heideboden weiß" (Chardonnay, Neuburger, Weißburgunder), as well as "Katharina" (St. Laurent), "S.EX" (= SEhr Extrem, Pinot Gris), "Merlot" and "Zweigelt Zwickelacker". In suitable years, sweet wines are also pressed. In addition, various brandies (rosehip, rowan, hawthorn, elderberry, cherry), sparkling wine and grape juice are produced. Around 100,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. The winery is a member of the Vinology winegrowers' association
