2021 Roter Veltliner trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Warm, slightly smoky nose with aromas of ripe yellow fruit, nutty notes, light tobacco, earthy-mineral notes in the background and a hint of wax. Ripe, sweetish, melting, again warm fruit with nutty, smoky and slightly tobacco flavours, hints of vegetal on the palate, moderate acidity and some grip of crumbly tannin, persistent, very slightly buttery, minerality again in the background, restrained barrel tone, very good, warm, quite dense finish.
