2013 Carnuntum Syrah Reserve trocken Pegasos®, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Fairly open nose, peppery spicy and a hint of bacon, red and black berries, smoky notes, dried herbs, earthy and mineral notes. Tart juicy fruit on the palate, more smoked bacon and herbaceous notes, light acid bite, fairly prominent fine sandy tannins, peppery notes, slightly salty mineral notes, good substance and persistence, light toasted notes, still slightly astringent, some bite on a very godo tart finish.
