2013 Carnuntum Ried Hagelsberg Cabernet Franc Reserve trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm nose, predominantly black berries and some cherries, red bell peppers, peppery and herbaceous traces, mineral traces. Ripe, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, peppery spice, smoked bacon, and oak, earthy notes, dried herbs and more pepper notes, braised red bell peppers, noticeable high alcohol, slightly jammy on a good to very good finish.
