2012 Carnuntum Cabernet Sauvignon-Zweigelt Reserve trocken Franz Josef, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm, clear, polished nose, partly preserved dark berries and cherries, delicate herbaceous aromas, hint of sugar candy, floral traces, touch of tobacco. Ripe, firm, juicy fruit on the palate, fine youthful tannins, light acid bite, prersistent, light smoky oak and some tobacco, light nutty notes, persistent and quite concentrated, floral and delicate herbaceous traces, touch of mint, mineral notes in the background, fairly complex, has some depth, elegant, spicy and juicy on a very good finish.
