2011 Carnuntum Gelber Muskateller süß Strohwein Big Game, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Light oak on the nose, sweet candied nutty notes, dried, candied and preserved yellow fruit, floral notes, light volatile traces, nutmeg and a hint of tobacco. Creamy, soft and very sweet on the palate,nutty aromas, more creamy, candied, preserved fruit, light smoky oak, light vegetal notes, fairly elegant acidity, light tannic touch, stil slightly astringent, good persistence, spicy traces, not particularly deep, more nutmeg on a good to very good finish.

Editor note: Translate to English Recht tiefer Duft nach kandierten und teils getrockneten gelben Früchten mit kandiert-nussigen und leicht getrocknet-floralen Aromen, gewürzigen Noten und Muskat. Sehr süße, etwas cremige Frucht mit vegetabilen und floralen Noten, am Gaumen wieder kandierte Nüsse, dazu etwas Honig, sehr feine Säure, gute Nachhaltigkeit, nicht ewig tief, getrocknete Orangen im Hintergrund, sehr guter Abgang.
