2006 Carnuntum trocken Classic, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Slightly reductive, stalky red berry nose, with some medicinal and herbaceous notes. Blackcurrant fruit on the palate, stalky notes, light acid bite, fairly uncomplicated style, but does have some substance, slightly astringent tannins, attractive finish. Good partner with a hearty light meal.
