2005 Carnuntum Cabernet Sauvignon-Zweigelt trocken Franz Josef®, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Editor note: Cool nose with blackcurrants and some sour cherries, vegetal and mineral notes, dark roasted and some smoky notes. Loads of oak on the palate, roasted and earthy notes, some sandy, astringent tannins, ripe dark fruit in the background, very creamy and sweetish, some coffee and sooty notes, not particualrly deep, still youthful, good finish.
