Youthful, relatively polished nose of predominantly black berries and cherries with delicate smoky and nutty hints, a little pepper, cassis, fleshy traces and hints of pepper. Ripe, youthful, quite tightly knitted fruit, fine tannin and some bite, some melting, still a little milky and yoghurt-like tones in the background, a hint of paprika and pepper, some power and persistence, hints of chocolatey flavours, very polished, almost smooth style, also becomes a little softer and more jammy with air, very good, quite firm finish with dark juice and peppery spice
