2016 Würzburg Stein "Hagemann" Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm, cool nose, light floral and yeasty notes, citrus and stone fruit, some red berries, hint of kiwi fruit, herbaceous and mineral aromas. Youthful, fairly juicy, cool, fairly firm, slightly off-dry fruit on the palate, prominent yeasty and light floral notes, some elderberry in the background, hint of tobacco, persistent, lively acidity, ripe tannins, hint of red berries, good grip, still largely undeveloped, light mineral notes and some bite on a very good cool, juicy finish.
