2021 Ried Hochäcker Blaufränkisch trocken "Handmade", Burgenland, Austria

Firm, tart aroma of black berries with slightly dried-vegetable to herbal, earthy and ashy nuances. Tight, tart, relatively cool fruit, present, relatively fine tannin and noticeable acidity, persistent on the palate, somewhat smoky, hints of dark spice, salt in the background, certain barrel tones, very good, tight, relatively acidic finish with very tart fruit, spice and still slightly drying tannin.
