2019 Landwein trocken "Contra", Burgenland, Austria

Taut, tart, very slightly open aroma of black berries with nutty, tobacco and peppery-spicy aromas. Firm, tart, juicy and spicy in the mouth, dark fruit with smoky to slightly bacony aromas, somewhat tobacco and nutty, grippy, youthful, yet crumbly tannin, persistent, a hint chalky, quite elegant style, animating, very good, tart, firm finish.
