2017 Blaufränkisch trocken "NIX", Burgenland, Austria

Clear, firm, slightly smoky aroma of black berries with fine herbal and tobacco flavours, some pepper and sooty-roasted notes. Clear, polished, very juicy, tart dark fruit, lively acidity and present, ripe, fine and mellow tannins, smoky and roasted notes, persistent on the palate, in the background salt and again herbs, dark ethereal spice, very good, firm, juicy finish. Still a great pleasure.
