2014 trocken Pannobile, Burgenland, Austria

Firm, fairly tart nose, cherries and dark berries, light cedary and herbaceous aromas, hint of tobacco, some licorice, bay leaf and juniper, whiff of bacon, noticeable mineral notes in the background. Firm, fairly cool, very juicy fruit on the palate, noticeable acid bite, fine youthful tannins, persistent and quite concentrated, delicate herbaceous traces, light salty mineral notes in the background, hint of cocoa and licorice, still largely undeveloped, some depth, elegant style, firm bite and more mineral notes on a very good firm, juicy finish.
