2009 Blaufränkisch trocken Kalk & Schiefer, Burgenland, Austria

Tart nose, black berries and cherries, nutty and light vegetal notes, light roasted noptes and some old oak. Straightforward, dark, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, slightly smoky with some dark chocolate, fairly fine tannins, dried vegetal and earthy notes, not particularly deep, but well made, light mineral notes, good to very good finish.
