2006 Langhe DOC Millon, Piedmont, Italy

Editor note: Spicy nose, preserved and marinated berries, nutty and roasted notes, slightly sweetish oak. Still rather closed, fairly sweet preserved red fruit on the palate, but also slightly tart, preserved red fruit with a touch of black berries, roasted nuts and bitter herbs, some pimento, tannins still slightly prominent, needs some time, has some substance and potential, light mineral traces on a good to very good finish.
