The "Angelo Negro e Figli" winery is located in the municipality of Monteau Roero (province of Cuneo) in the Italian region of Piedmont. The traditional winery was founded in 1670 by Giovanni Domenico Negro. Today it is run by Giovanni Negro. The vineyards cover 65 hectares of vines. They are planted with the red wine varieties Nebbiolo (main variety), Barbera and Dolcetto, as well as the white wine varieties Arneis, Favorita (Vermentino) and Moscato (Muscat Blanc). The vineyards are cultivated close to nature in accordance with the rules of sustainability. The product range includes red wines and white wines DOCG Roero, DOCG Barbaresco, DOCG Barolo, DOC Langhe and DOC Barbera d'Alba. Every year, 350,000 bottles of wine are produced, 60% of which are exported within Europe as well as to the USA and Asia. A grappa is also produced.
