Very slightly muted, somewhat herbal and nutty nose of mixed berries with a hint of bacon, pepper and wax. Clear, rather lean fruit with chocolaty wood spice, crumbly, still youthful tannin, hints of candy and laurel, somewhat forward style, hints of leather and pepper, good to very good finish.
