2021 Ingelheim Pares Spätburgunder trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Download
Bottle image in HD without watermark

Firm, tart and quite deep, still almost unapproachable aroma with restrained berry tones, vegetable notes reminiscent of beetroot, some meat, dried flowers, caraway, cranberries, smoky-bacon barrel tones and pepper. Quite dense in the mouth, tart, completely undeveloped fruit with lively acidity and fine sandy tannins, nutty and smoky wood tones, juniper, caraway, some mushrooms and bacon, good depth, clear, chalky-salty minerality, a hint of savoy cabbage and cola nut, very good, firm, grippy finish. Absolutely needs to mature.
