Somewhat peppery and a hint of mint on the nose, with notes of Provençal herbs, black and red berries, a hint of cherries, leather and bacon. Dense and tart in the mouth, taut, rather cool juice, lots of salt, Provençal herbs and restrained smoky-roasted spice, also a little dark ethereal, plenty of salt, also slightly chalky mineral tones, present, fine sandy tannins, quite pithy type, undeveloped, grippy, currently anything but flattering, but with energy, very good, taut, tart-juicy and mineral finish. Needs to mature.
