2021 Marbach Frankenberg Grauburgunder trocken "Edition S", Baden, Germany

Slightly smoky, somewhat nutty and vegetal to herbaceous nose, yellow fruit, hint of root vegetables and mushrooms, hint of vanilla. Ripe, juicy fruit with some sweetish melting and smoky flavours, suitable acidity, has some grip and a certain persistence, roasted and nutty wood notes in the background, a hint of butter and bacon, salty tones, good to very good, slightly melting finish.
