Ripe, partly preserved, creamy fruit on the palate, noticeably sweet for a nominally dry wine, some melon, dried herbs, peppery, earthy and salty mineral notes, very elegant acidity, full-bodied, has substance, hint of bacon in the background, still young, persistent, good depth, fairly complex, becomes even firmer with aeration, some old oak and more peppery notes,spicy vegetal and mineral notes on a very good, fairly sweet, juicy finish. No doubt this is a classy ine, but the clearly sweet taste means the "dry" declaration on the label is a little misleading, even though it may still comply with legal requirements.
