The "Weinmanufaktur Clemens Strobl" with headquarters in Kirchberg am Wagram was founded in 2008 by Clemens Strobl. The vineyards comprise 15 hectares of vines in two Lower Austrian wine growing regions. The focus is on the Wagram, where the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, St. Laurent and Zweigelt are cultivated. In the Kremstal, Riesling is cultivated on the Pfaffenberg. In the vineyard, work is done by hand "with respect for nature". Since 2018 the wine manufactory has been certified according to the rules of organic viticulture of the Austria Bio Garantie.
Only physiologically ripe and healthy grapes are processed by selective hand harvesting. The fermentation takes place spontaneously with natural yeasts from the vineyard. Depending on the type of wine, the wines are aged in stainless steel tanks, in traditional large wooden barrels, in or in concrete eggs. The line includes fresh wines from the Grüner Veltliner and Riesling varieties as well as a rosé. The wines of the "Premium" line, some of which are aged in all containers, include the brands "Grüner Veltliner Schreck", "Grüner Veltliner Lössling", "Riesling Rosen" from Wagram as well as "Riesling Pfaff" from Kremstal.
