2018 Landwein Reserve, Main, Germany

Tart, distinctly vegetal, slightly nutty and also a little dried floral aroma with yellow fruity aromas and celery. Ripe, melting fruit, slightly smoky and nutty woody hints, vegetal and herbal aromas, a hint of smoke and yellow spice, persistent, good substance and some depth, lots of grip from ripe tannin, clear minerality, has bite and energy, very good, taut, tangy and spicy finish, again with lots of grip.
