2019 Silvaner Spontanvergoren, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Somewhat nutty and vegetal to dried herbal nose of yellow fruits with slightly smoky and mushroomy hints. Ripe, tart-spicy and at the same time sweetish fruit with noticeable melting, lively acidity, light tannic grip and quite good persistence, in the background marzipan and some yellow-spicy flavours, has power, salty and chalky tones, enormous alcohol in the good to very good finish.
