2022 Grauburgunder trocken "Aus der Gewanne Raedling", Pfalz, Germany

Pomaceous fruit on the nose, nutty and light tobacco/spicy oak, quite clear aromas of peas and a hint of celery. Ripe, sweetish, juicy fruit with light, nutty oak flavours, some butter, root vegetables, hints of mustard pickles and peas again, relatively lively acidity, crumbly, sandy tannins, a certain strength and warmth, good persistence, a little buttery and soft in contours, buttery and woody notes on the finish.
