2021 Weißburgunder trocken "STBG" (Aus der Gewanne Strohlenberg), Pfalz, Germany

Clear, bright citrus pome fruit nose with nutty and a little vegetal to herbal notes. Clear, juicy, slightly warm fruit, bright nutty flavours, a little herbal and hinted at floral, fine acidity, grip of crumbly tannin, light wood, good persistence, has power, some depth, very good, slightly sweet melting finish with ethereal notes, hints of bacon, anise and fennel.
