2020 Schweigen Sonnenberg Gewürztraminer, Pfalz, Germany

Very slightly oniony scent of citrus fruits and zest with herbal notes, a hint of smoke and mineral hints. Ripe, juicy, somewhat sweet fruit with yellow spice, nutty tones, a hint of smoke and some rock candy, fine acidity, grip of crumbly tannin, a little woody in the background, a lot of power and some warmth, mineral hints, some depth, still young, very good, sweetly juicy and slightly bacony finish with smoky-roasty notes.
