2015 Ungstein Herrenberg Riesling trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Firm nose, light yeasty, nutty and earthy notes, citrus and stone fruit, light mineral notes, herbaceous aromas, delicate hint of tobacco. Ripe, tranquil, slightly warm fruit on the palate, light nutty, earthy and mineral notes, fresh vegetal traces, elegant, lively acidity, slightly sandy tannins, good substance and persistence, still largely undeveloped, chalky notes, clearly noticeably sharp sulphurous notes, still totally obstructing the wine, firm structure, very good tart finish. Definitely needs time to mature.
