2015 Volkach Ratsherr Rieslaner Beerenauslese, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Light vegetal and herbaceous notes on the nose, partly candied citrus fruit and stone fruit, light floral and delicate yeasty aromas, hint of bees wax. Very sweet, partly candied fruit on the palate, yeasty, light vegetal, herbaceous and waxy notes, elegant acidity, good persistence and substance, floral notes in the background, light salty notes, still largely undeveloped, some depth, very good finish. Needs a little more time to develop.
