2020 Wachenheim Altenburg Riesling trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Quite firm, very slightly muted, somewhat herbaceous-vegetal and a little floral aroma with rather restrained citrus and stone fruit aromas and mineral hints. Rather bright, quite juicy, slightly sweetish fruit, again a little muted, herbaceous-vegetable, yeasty, floral and a hint of yellow-spicy aromas, a touch of fresh butter, candy tones, minerality in the background, crumbly-sandy tannin, waxy tones, fennel, very good, slightly sweetish-dissolving finish with rather tart, delicately peppery spiciness.
