2020 Rieslaner Spätlese, Pfalz, Germany

Somewhat vegetal nose, a little reminiscent of celery and kohlrabi with more white than yellow fruity aromas and floral nuances. Again quite bright, very sweet fruit, lively acidity and very lightly covering tannin, some persistence, candied citrus zest in the background, also some gooseberry and a hint of dark berries, very good, relatively juicy, sweet finish with bite.
