Transparent and polished, predominantly black berry and slightly peppery nose with a hint of leather, cherries and medicinal herbs. Polished, juicy fruit with a noticeable acid bite, somewhat nutty, reminiscent of walnut and aromatic-smoky wood notes, fine sandy, still slightly drying tannins, some persistence, a hint of tobacco and undergrowth, pepper again, salty-mineral tones, hints of cranberries, cocoa and dried meat on a very good, juicy and spicy finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2024 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
