Somewhat vegetal to herbaceous and nutty aroma of predominantly dark berries and a little cherry with slightly peppery notes and clove-spicy barrel tones. Straightforward, juicy dark fruit with notes reminiscent of blackcurrants, mushrooms and tobacco, lively acidity, crumbly, still youthful tannins, a certain persistence, salty tones, nutty and again clove-spicy wood notes in the background, good to very good finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2024 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
