2021 Lemberger trocken "Kerf", Württemberg, Germany

Cool, tart nose, prominent black berries, light nutty, vegetal and ethereal-herbal notes, hint of Havana tobacco, hint of rubber. Slender, cool again, slightly sweet and tart fruit with nuances reminiscent of citrus zest, some leather and a hint of soot, present, slightly drying tannins, roasted oak flavours in the background, limited substance, hint of camphor on a good to very good finish.
