Firm, relatively deep, somewhat smoky, nutty and vegetal to dried herbaceous nose, predominantly dark berries with a few cherries and a hint of meat juice, hint of star anise. Clear, tart, juicy fruit with some spicy and nutty wood flavours, fine sandy tannins, a certain acid bite, a hint of medicinal herbs and tobacco, salty tones, very good finish with bite.
