2021 Korb Berg Lemberger trocken "Goldadler", Württemberg, Germany

Slightly preserved, somewhat nutty and green-vegetable to dried-herbal nose, black and blue berries with floral notes, hint of Amarena cherries and tobacco. Clear, juicy, firm fruit with minty notes, some nutty and bitter chocolate wood flavours as well as hints of bacon, lively acidity, fine sandy tannins, good persistence, but rather limited depth, a hint of laurel, lots of salt and slightly lemony acidity on a very good, again somewhat green-vegetable finish.
