Clear, firm and quite deep, concentrated, yet polished, very pure aroma of ripe black berries with coffee notes, a hint of tobacco and a little Mediterranean herbs as well as sour cherries and a hint of tomato paste. Tight, dense, very juicy fruit with a certain acid bite and present, yet ripe and fine tannins, chalky-salty in the background, a little paprika, persistent, good depth, coffee-spicy wood, still undeveloped, very good, tight finish with lots of ripe, polished and fresh dark juice and dark roasted notes.

Best to drink: 2026-2034+. What our ratings mean
