2014 Korb Berg Spätburgunder trocken Goldadler, Württemberg, Germany

Light nutty notes and a hint of tobacco on the nose, red and a few black berries, dried floral traces, whiff of vanilla. Clear, ripe, fairly tart fruit on the palate, delicate smoky oak, some tobacco, light nutty notes and vanilla, fine dusty tannins, still slightly astringent, good persistence, noticeable warm alcohol, earthy and salty notes in the background, hint of bacon and spicy traces, hint of cocoa, peppery traces, noticeable salty notes on a very good, but still slightly brittle finish.
